Final Report due on FRIDAY!

Hello everyone!

There is not long now until the end of the competition! Keep working hard on your enterprises and remember that you will need to BLOG for November or else you cannot win the competition.

We have had more great Blogs this week and a special mention to The Chrysalis school in Uganda, the Googho project in Burkina Faso and the Jhurry Rya school in Mauritius. Well done to anyone who has already blogged too!

Please keep the details about your enterprises coming in if you haven’t yet blogged for November.

Final Report!

The deadline for the final reports is on the 2nd of December!  This report is a way to evaluate your own progress and also for us to see just how well your enterprise has done!

For templates and details on how to do this, see your School Enterprise Challenge handbooks. A summary of the content of your report is as follows:

The Narrative Report needs to include a summary of your activities so how you carried out your projects.

-Include your Achievements, Problems you may have had and Solutions.

-How did your enterprise Benefit your school and the community around you; always remember People, Profit, Planet!

-How have you made your business Sustainable and how are you planning to Develop your business for the future?

You will also need to submit a Profit and Loss statement. Include you Income, Expenditure and Net profits in this section so we can see just how well you have done!

Blogging and Final Reports!

Blogging.

It is really important that everyone keeps blogging and telling us the news about your enterprise, you will not be able to win unless you do this! Send us information and regular updates about your projects and let the world see what you have accomplished in the last few months! We have had some great Blogs in this week and would like to specially mention St Denis in Uganda, Rose of Sharon Academy in Liberia and Grassroots Nomadic Youth and Community in India. Final Reports.

Remember that the final reports are due at the beginning of December! You can find out how to do these from your information package. Here is a summary of what the Final Report should contain:

So it has been another exciting week on the School Enterprise Challenge! Narrative Report and November Blogs!

We are now in November and getting nearer to the closing date (December 2nd) of the School Enterprise Challenge and the chance for one school to win $10,000! The final steps of the competition are the Narrative Report and Profit/Loss Statement, as well as remembering to get in your November blog!

Narrative Report

The information on how to write this is in Step 5 of the handbook pages 81-94 with the templates essentially tell us what you did and how you did it!

It should include:

-Summary of your activity

-Achievements

-Problems and Solutions

-Benefits

-People, profit, planet

-Sustainability and Development

Profit and Loss Statement

You will need to tell us your Income, Expenditure and Net Profits, which should be covered in you weekly cash flow statements and will essentially tell us how much income you have generated!
