50+ Schools Registered for 2012!

Hello from Teach A Man To Fish!

We have had a great response to the opening of the School Enterprise Challenge for 2012, with over 50 schools already registered. We would like to welcome all of these schools on board for this year’s competition, and wish them the best of luck in their school enterprise!

We would like to see as many schools as possible enter the School Enterprise Challenge for 2012, so make sure you Register today. Please also connect with us through Facebook and Twitter, and help get the word out about this year’s Competition!

It is fantastic to see so many of the participating schools from last year’s competition return for another year, and we are pleased to see such schools as Eurokids Nepal, FAMS International School, Madaripur Girls’ High School and Kantui School.

Of course we also like to see new schools sign up, and we look forward to seeing the business plans of schools new to the competition such as Peyo K Yavorov (Bulgaria), Rasamoy Memorial High School (Bangladesh), Tarapore School, D.A.V. Central School & Vallalar Nursery & Primary School (India) and Juaben Methodist Primary (Ghana). Thank you for signing up and if any new school has any questions about the School Enterprise Challenge then please be sure to contact us (info@schoolenterprisechallenge.org) and we will be happy to help.

We have heard some great ideas for enterprises from schools this week which they plan to undertake as part of the challenge, for example Vallalar Nursery & Primary school plan to start making candles and create a tailoring unit, on top of their existing school enterprise which is a Kitchen Garden. Bustani Primary School are preparing a tree nursery for their school based enterprise, and Kilele Junior School intend to start a chicken project which will be run by their senior class. Keep your ideas coming!

We will be sending out Certificates to each of the country winners from the School Enterprise Challenge 2011 in the very near future, so the winners should keep an eye out for those. We are sure that all of last year’s winners will be back again this year with even more successful enterprises!

From the SEC team.
