Register your School Today!

It’s been another exciting week for the School Enterprise Challenge 2012, with over 100 Schools now registered for this year’s competition. Thank you to all those who have registered, and good luck in the competition.

Welcome aboard to all of those who have just joined, which included Maharsahtra Public School (India), Newland Centre for Business Management & Financial Studies (Ghana), Emerging Academy of IT (Pakistan), Mathare Community Educational Development Organization (Kenya) and Nyarugunda Senior Secondary School (Uganda).

We are also delighted to welcome the following schools who are the first from their respective countries to register this year!

This week also saw the winner of the Video Competition for the School Enterprise Challenge 2011 announced, with the award for best School Video going to Beaconhouse North Nazimabad Primary 1!

It is clear that a lot of effort went into the School Enterprise and video at Beaconhouse North Nazimabad, and on behalf of all the team at the School Enterprise Challenge we want to say congratulations to their staff and students. We hope to see more excellent enterprising work from them in this year’s competition! A video highlighting some of the work of Beaconhouse can be found here.

If your school is participating in the School Enterprise Challenge for the first time, then don’t forget our 5 Steps to Victory!

   1. Form your School Enterprise Challenge Team and decide on a business activity

   2. Submit a Business Plan explaining how your School Enterprise will work

   3. Launch your School Enterprise and generate income

   4. Share News about your School Enterprise through regular blogs or text updates

   5. Create a Financial and Narrative Report to tell us how you did.
