School Enterprise Challenge 2012 Registration Form

Greetings from Teach A Man To Fish!                   Image

As we reached the closing date for registrations for this year’s School Enterprise Challenge, we have had an incredible 550 schools signed up to take part. Thank you and welcome to all those who have registered already – we can’t wait to see what enterprises you will create in your schools!

As a result of the huge interest in the competition – and to accommodate schools in certain countries who are on holidays at the moment – we have decided to extend the deadline for registration until the 3rd August 2012, to give as many schools as possible the opportunity to sign up. You can find the registration form for the School Enterprise Challenge at the following link:

Why not register your school today?

There have been a number of countries from South and Central America sign up in the past week, which is great to see and should make for exciting country level competitions in both Nicaragua and Paraguay. These newly registered schools include the following:

–          Escuela Básica Nº 4173 Virgen de Fátima Municipal Nº 12 (Paraguay)

–          Centro Regional de Educación Francisco Solano López (Paraguay)

–          Escuela Básica Nº 3233 Santa Luisa (Paraguay)

–          Colegio Nacional Panamericano (Paraguay)

–          Eduardo Umana Luna School (Columbia)

–          La Cuculmeca (Nicaragua)

This has also been another great week for registrations from Ugandan Schools, and we would like to welcome Makerere College School, Nabisunsa Girls School, Kakira High School, Arua Public School, Kisa Kya Maria Junior Academy, Lubiri Secondary School, Airportview Infant School & Eastern Polytechnic-Bugiri. Good luck to all of these schools in the Ugandan country competition this year!

We are also delighted to welcome another UK school to the competition – Gable Hall, from Corringham in Essex – as well as the following South African schools: LEAP Science & Maths School, Kingdom Christian School & Chuchekani Primary. There is no doubt that the School Enterprise Challenge 2012 is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year’s great competition!

We will continue to post updates on Facebook and Twitter throughout the competition, so be sure to follow us to keep informed about how other schools are progressing in their school enterprises:

Remember – it will soon be time to submit your business plans for your school enterprise this year, so we would advise that you read through the education packs that have already been sent out, and start planning your new enterprise. If your school requires any help or ideas please do get in touch at the email address above – we would love to hear from you!

Best Regards,

From the SEC team.
