We’ve had loads of exciting stuff happen for the Challenge in the last few weeks – in case you missed anything, here’s a little summary of all our news over the past month!
School Enterprise Challenge 2012 Results
On March 11th we released the results of the School Enterprise Challenge 2012 – so many great schools entered and picking from the enterprises was incredibly difficult, but someone had to be the winner! Click here for the full results.
We’ve had some lovely photos from the winning schools – check out some pictures on our Facebook page
Carlogie School on TV!
Carlogie School in Dundee, winners of the European Business Plan Prize, also had the honour of appearing on Scotland’s STV news channel – catch their segment here (starts at around 16 mins in)
Commonwealth Day and the Challenge 2013 Launch
On the same day we launched the Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge 2013 alongside our new partners Ashoka and the Royal Commonwealth Society at this years Commonwealth Observance Day at Westminster Abbey. We were joined by the Duke of Wales and Sir Richard Branson, who launched this years Commonwealth Theme ‘Opportunity Through Enterprise’.
We’ve already had over 70 schools confirm their registration, and more are getting involved every day!
Lindsey’s Visit to India
March was also a big month for our representative Lindsey, who travelled to India to visit some of the schools that took part in 2012’s Challenge. Lindsey took a look at Indraprastha World School, St Mary’s Sec. Public School and DLF Public School, our $5000 ‘Top Global Prize’ winners – See some pictures from her visit to DLF School here.
Lindsey even made it into the newspapers – check out her interview with the New Indian Express.
With more schools entering every day then we’re expecting to have even more exciting news for you in April – stay up to date by ‘Liking’ our Facebook page and following us on Twitter @SchEnterprise.
Take care everyone!
